Lees bietjie meer oor Kwikstert se topkeuses vir ‘n romantiese uitstappie in Pretoria hier!
You may have noticed that we at Kwikstert LOVE coffee. You may have also noticed that we post photos of our coffee on social media each week, but did you notice that we drink coffee somewhere different each week? Why is that?
Our weekly coffee dates serve two main purposes that align with our company values, namely:
- Getting Personal
- Getting Involved
Getting Personal
This initiative started during 2020 while we were all working from home to ensure that we still come together and spend time as a team at least once per week. This also forms part of our getting personal value and allows us to check in with one another and hear how things are going outside of work as well.
Socialising in a relaxed, out of office environment allows us to reboot our minds and get inspired to push through the last bit of each week. This is our mini-weekend or holiday in the middle of the week that reminds us why we do what we do, and why we love what we do. It sounds cliche’ but it is true.
Getting Involved
This is our community-based value. We believe that sitting in our office waiting and hoping people will stumble across our path is not the way to go. Instead we go out into our community to find the gems of Pretoria, and meet interesting people along the way.
We visit a different coffee shop each week for two reasons:
- So we can discover and experience these wonderful places, and recommend them to our circle of friends.
- To give these coffee shops a little more exposure through sharing photos and locations on our social media platforms.
What are some of the places we have visited lately?
- Plato Coffee, Irene
- Industrial Coffee Works, Centurion
- Sprout, Hazelwood
- Irene Farm, Irene
- Starbucks, Castle Gate
- Blos Cafe, Faerie Glen
- Mugg & Bean, Irene Village Mall
- Starbucks, Brooklyn Mall
